Privacy Notice – Legal Information

Privacy

1. General information on data processing

The protection of your personal data is important to us. Personal data means any information relating to an identified or identifiable person, for example name, contact details, or technical usage data.

We process personal data only insofar as this is necessary for providing this website, handling your contact requests, initiating or carrying out cooperation, or complying with legal obligations.

2. Hosting and technical provision of the website

This website is created with WordPress and technically provided by IONOS SE, Elgendorfer Straße 57, 56410 Montabaur. As part of hosting and delivery of the website, technical connection and access data may be processed. This includes in particular:

  • IP address or a shortened or anonymized IP address,
  • date and time of access,
  • pages and files accessed,
  • referrer URL,
  • browser type and browser version,
  • operating system,
  • data volume transferred,
  • status codes and comparable technical information.

Processing takes place in order to technically provide the website, ensure its stability and security, detect errors, and prevent misuse.

The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest lies in the secure, stable, and user-friendly provision of our website.

IONOS may be involved in the processing as a service provider and/or processor in connection with the technical provision of the website. Further information on data processing by IONOS can be found in IONOS’ privacy policy.

According to IONOS, the technical visitor data are anonymized directly upon collection. These data are stored for 21 days and then deleted or no longer processed in a personally identifiable form. The data are deleted or anonymized as soon as they are no longer required for the stated purposes, unless legal retention obligations or legitimate security interests prevent this. No data are passed on to third parties.

3. Cookies and comparable technologies

This website uses IONOS WebAnalytics for statistical analysis and technical optimization of our web offering. WebAnalytics does not use cookies. The IP address is anonymized directly when a page view is transmitted and then processed without personal reference. The following are collected in particular: referrer, website or file accessed, browser type and browser version, operating system, device type, time of access, and the anonymized IP address. Processing takes place for the statistical analysis and technical optimization of the website. Further information can be found in IONOS’ privacy notices. According to the current configuration of this website, no analytics, marketing, or tracking services are used.

Only technically necessary cookies or comparable technical storage and access operations are used, insofar as this is necessary for providing and securing the website. These technologies are not used to create user profiles or track visitors for advertising purposes.

No consent is required for technically necessary cookies, insofar as the requirements of § 25(2) TDDDG are met. Insofar as personal data are processed in this context, processing takes place on the basis of Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest lies in providing the website in a technically secure and functional manner.

Should non-essential cookies, analytics functions, marketing services, or other comparable technologies be used in the future, this privacy policy will be supplemented before such use. If required, consent will be obtained beforehand.

4. Contact by e-mail or telephone

You can contact us by e-mail or telephone. If you contact us, we process the data you provide. This may include in particular:

  • name,
  • e-mail address,
  • telephone number,
  • content of your message or conversation,
  • information about your company and your inquiry,
  • in the case of e-mails, also technical transmission data.

We process this data in order to respond to your inquiry, handle follow-up questions, prepare possible cooperation, or perform an existing contract.

The legal basis depends on the content of the inquiry: Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR, insofar as processing is necessary for pre-contractual measures or the performance of a contract, or Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest lies in the processing and documentation of business inquiries.

There is generally no obligation to provide personal data. However, without the information required to process your request, we may not be able to answer your inquiry, or may not be able to answer it completely.

E-mail communication takes place via the IONOS e-mail service used by us. The content and technical data of e-mail communication may be processed and stored by the e-mail service provider. Further information can be found in IONOS’ privacy notices.

We delete inquiries as soon as they are no longer required for processing. Longer storage may take place if this is necessary to fulfil legal retention obligations or to assert, exercise, or defend legal claims.

No contact forms and no online applications

According to the current configuration, this website does not offer a contact form or an online application function.

If you send us application documents or other confidential documents by e-mail, please note that ordinary e-mail communication does not guarantee end-to-end encryption.

5. External links and downloads

Our website may contain links to external websites, profiles, and documents, including social networks, partner companies, and PDF files.

No social media plugins or comparable content are automatically loaded on our pages. Data are generally transferred to the respective external provider only when you click such a link or access an external download. In doing so, the respective provider may receive technical data, in particular your IP address.

After accessing an external website, the privacy provisions of the respective provider apply. We have no influence on that provider’s data processing. Please inform yourself there about how your data are handled.

6. Recipients of personal data

Personal data are transferred only insofar as this is necessary for the purposes stated, you have given your consent, a legal obligation exists, or this is necessary to assert, exercise, or defend legal claims.

As technical service providers, in particular IONOS as hosting provider and IONOS as e-mail service provider may be involved in the processing. These service providers may process data only within the scope of the services they provide and in accordance with applicable data protection requirements.

We do not sell personal data and do not use it for profiling or personalised advertising.

7. Transfers to third countries

We do not intentionally transfer personal data to countries outside the European Union or the European Economic Area in the normal course of website operation. However, if you access an external link, the respective external provider may process data in accordance with its own privacy policy. The respective provider is responsible for that processing.

For data processing by IONOS, the provider’s privacy information also applies. This information also explains any additional service providers used and any appropriate safeguards for international data transfers.

8. Your rights

Under the legal requirements, you have the following rights:

  • right of access to your personal data stored about you pursuant to Art. 15 GDPR,
  • right to rectification of inaccurate data pursuant to Art. 16 GDPR,
  • right to erasure pursuant to Art. 17 GDPR,
  • right to restriction of processing pursuant to Art. 18 GDPR,
  • right to data portability pursuant to Art. 20 GDPR,
  • right to object to processing pursuant to Art. 21 GDPR,
  • right to withdraw consent at any time with effect for the future.

Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before the withdrawal on the basis of consent. As we currently do not use any non-essential analytics or marketing functions, no corresponding consents are generally obtained on this website at present.

To exercise your rights, a message to the above e-mail address or postal address is sufficient. If there are reasonable doubts about identity, we may request additional information for verification.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority. In particular, the responsible authority is:

Bavarian State Office for Data Protection Supervision (BayLDA)
Website: www.lda.bayern.de

9. Automated decision-making and profiling

No automated decision-making including profiling within the meaning of Art. 22 GDPR takes place via this website.

10. Data security and encryption

This website is provided via an encrypted HTTPS connection. This protects the transmission between your browser and the website against interception by third parties, insofar as the encryption is technically properly supported.

Please note that data transmission over the internet may still have security vulnerabilities despite technical and organizational security measures. Complete security of data transmission by e-mail in particular cannot be guaranteed for ordinary e-mails.

11. Up-to-dateness of this privacy policy

We may change this privacy policy if the website, the technical services used, or legal requirements change. The currently published version on this website shall apply.
